Welcome to the HLA Journal Club

This is an online journal club for medical librarians, operated by HLA. You do not have to be a member of HLA or ALIA to participate.

Click here to find out what paper the journal club is appraising this month or navigate to Article of the Month on the menu on your right.

You will be notified when the link to the paper to be appraised is uploaded. At the end of each month, an evidence summary resulting from the discussions will be prepared for HLA News. 

You are encouraged to make comments on all steps of the appraisal process. You will find these steps outlined under the link Appraisal Discussion in the right hand menu. This is where the journal club discussion happens.

Please do not edit any pages, just add your comments to the bottom of the page for each appraisal step.

Everytime someone adds something to the discussion, you will be notified by email.
